TURKISH JURNAL OF FISHERIES AND AQUATIC SCIENCES
- Research papers must not exceed 25 manuscript pages including tables and figures.
- Short reports and technical notes, which
are results of brief but significant work, must not exceed 10 manuscript
pages including tables and figures.
- Invited reviews, which will be solicited
by the Editorial Board, must not exceed 50 manuscript pages including
tables and figures.
Articles must be written in English and present scientific results
that have not been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere.Submission of Manuscripts
The complete submission should contain main document, title page, figures, tables and copyright form. MS word document with file extension ".doc" or ".docx" is preferred.
The manuscript should be submitted to the journal via online submission system:

All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees.
Page Charges and Reprints
No page charges are collected, and authors will receive one copy of the journal. Reprints must be ordered in advance on the reprint order form sent with the proofs.
Preparation of Manuscripts
Type the manuscript's main document double-spaced throughout and with 25 mm margins, on A4 paper format using a standard font (e.g. MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 pt).
Number all pages consecutively.
Organize your manuscript as follows:
1. Main Document
Page 1 (Title page)
* Title of manuscript
* Number of pages
* Number of Tables
* Number of Figures
* Abstract with key words:
Abstract should not exceed;200 words in research papers,
300 words in reviews, and
100 words in short reports and technical notes.
Three to five key words (not found in the title) should be listed below the abstract.
The abstract must be in both English and Turkish for "Turkish Authors", only in English for "foreign authors".
Main document is usually divided into following sections:
Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion; Acknowledgements; References.
1.1.References
All references should be cited in the text; see below for details:
Cite references in the text:as Author (year) or (Author, year).
If there are two authors in the references: (Author and Author. Year);
If there are more authors in the references: Author1, Autor2 and Author 3. Year.
In the References, arrange papers alphabetically by the first author's family name.
References from the same author(s) in the same year should be identified by the letters "a", "b", "c", etc., placed after the year of publication.
“Please write the full names of the journals in references instead of abridgments.”
DOI Numbers of references must be indicated.

2. Title Page
· Authors' full names, with an asterisk after the name of the corresponding author
· Authors' affiliations and postal addresses, including e-mail address of the corresponding author
· Phone and fax numbers of corresponding author
3. Tables
Number tables consecutively in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...), and type each table on a separate sheet. Title of the table should be written on top of the table. Descriptions about table items should be placed at the bottom of the table with an asterisk.
4. Figures
Number Figures consecutively in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...), and type each Figure on a separate sheet. Title of the figure and descriptions about figure items should be written on bottom of the figure.
Tables and Figures might be cited in the text but they should follow the text; see below for details.
Tables and Figures are not able to given in the main document. If so, you can upload them via system.
5. Copyright Release Form
The manuscript must be accompanied by the "Copyright Release Form" filled in completely and signed by all authors.
